YouTube Demonetization 2018 – What It Means & How to Survive!

Starting on February 20th, a channel on YouTube will need 1,000 subscribers and 4000 hours of watch time in a calendar year. This channel is almost at the threshold for watch time (thank you!) but way below on the subscriber metric. What this means is the channel will no longer make me that sweet earnings (LOL.. its maybe $1/day) while in reality nothing will change. I’ll continue to post quality content that solves problems, answers questions and entertains.

For some channel this may feel like YouTube doesn’t care about small channels and sadly that’s becoming true, just focus on creating great content, helping others and never chase money in anything you do in life.
