Hello Patrick or is it Matthew.. Confused?
You aren’t the only one. It has been brought to my attention that a photo I have on my Flickr page (of me) is being used in marketing material for some application. Which in itself pisses me off royally. However the topper is they are using my image with someone elses name.
Oh and I should mention I was never asked to use the photo.. and for that matter am not even the copyright holder of the image.. since its of me.. duh. They may remove the photo after my email, but here is screen grabs.
To clarify: I DO NOT use, recognize or otherwise endorse this product any any direct, indirect manner whatsoever.
Footnote: The very talented photographer Teisha McCall took the photo for me.

April 15, 2009 12:04 amThis is hilarious! You don’t even fit in with the other images which clear appear to be posed photos of highly respected professionals. In comparison, you look like some slacker kid downloading p0rn.
Begs the obvious questions, are the other photos nicked as well or are they on the up and up?

April 15, 2009 12:10 amHey I was researching offshore banking while living it up in the fast paced town of Port Charlotte. Downloading P0rn should be confined to the library.. thank you very much.
For those that are soft, I am joking 😉

May 8, 2009 10:14 pmHey Patrick, or is it Matthew. They still havent removed your picture. Did the photographer atleast sell them the rights to it? Or was it just snatched and used?
You should put some legal pressure on them.

May 8, 2009 10:57 pmNo, I just haven’t pursued it just yet, I really need to though. So, no I did not provide rights or anything of the sort at this time..
